Maliha's experience includes earning a prestigious position on a defense team at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). She gained vital experience in the oil and gas industry, worked as general counsel for an IT/Engineering consulting company, and started her own practice in 2011. Maliha is a Breast Cancer survivor and is dedicated to helping spear awareness in the community. Equipped with business acumen and legal know how, Maliha serves as an asset to her clients.

Suera Sheikhi is an ambitious and diligent legal professional.
As a recent law school graduate, Suera’s passions lie in entertainment and business law. While in law school, Suera single-handedly managed a law clinic, managing and providing services to 20+ indigent clients. Further, Suera was actively involved in the Sports & Entertainment Law Society and served as Historian for the Environmental Law Society. Suera completed an internship with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Narcotics Division in the Spring of 2016. Graduating in 2017 with a 4.0 her last semester, Suera continued her involvement in the entertainment industry by becoming an active member of the Texas Chapter of the Recording Academy (Grammys).
Suera assisted in organization of the “Grammy’s at the Texas Capitol” program through scheduling, speaking, and lobbying with Texas legislators regarding music rights. Further, Suera was asked to act as the Chapter’s Houston Advocate, and was in charge of organizing and facilitating events for Houston university and college students with music business professionals, including but not limited to music attorneys, Grammy-winning recording artists, music publishers, and more.
Suera has been awarded several city, state, congressional, and special recognitions for her legal services including a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Houston awarded by Mayor Sylvester Turner, a Certificate of Recognition of the City of Galveston awarded by Mayor James D. Yarbrough, a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition awarded by United States Congressman Al Green, an Award of Congressional Recognition from United States Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, and a Certificate of Recognition from the Recording Academy for her implementation of creating a Houston Advocate in the Texas Chapter of the Recording Academy.
Some hobbies of Ms. Sheikhi’s include visiting museum exhibits, attending film and music festivals, watching classic films, reading, spending time with family, and traveling.
