Attorney Lekeaka Defang is passionate about assisting individuals fight for and protect their legal rights. Originally from Cameroon, attorney Defang migrated to the United States at the age of 10. At this early age she developed a passion for the television series “Judge Judy”. This would ultimately lead to her decision to study and practice law.
Currently, attorney Defang is committed to assisting clients through pre-litigation and litigation matter. She specializes in obtaining the pertinent information necessary for obtaining the best result whether by negotiating a settlement or going to trial. Attorney Defang has tried cases in front of judges and juries and is equipped with the skills necessary to litigate civil matters including, business disputes, personal injuries, etc.

Civil Litigation. Occurs when two or more parties become involved in a legal disagreement that involves seeking money or action but does not involve criminal accusations. This may include personal injury cases, intellectual property disputes, medical malpractice cases, employment or labor disputes, and divorce cases.
Business Law. Geared towards small to medium-sized businesses needing assistance with planning and protecting their business. She counsels regarding business entity formation, contract review and drafting, employment issues, and more.
Personal Injury. I seek justice for injury victims and help them fight for the maximum compensation they deserve for their injuries and losses.
Family Law. I provide my clients with general legal counsel, represent them in court, act as mediators when family disagreements or divorce develop, and draft/review legal documents and agreements.

As a first-generation student, attorney Defang, received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona. She then relocated to Houston where she attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law. At 23, she received her Juris Doctor (JD) degree, graduating at the top of her class with the honor Magna Cum Laude.
While in law school, attorney Defang was part of the Legal Clinic, where as a student attorney she developed a passion for assisting individuals protect their rights. She also competed in mock trial competitions where she was able to develop her court room presence and passion for being in the courtroom.
Facilitated six figured settlements and handled matters involving million dollar estates.
Attorney Defang serves her community through prison ministry and other service projects.
